At the airport we made signs to welcome Mommy. Alex’s sign said, “Mommy, aka Leslie Chapman,” and she drew a picture on the back of the sign.
CJ’s sign said, “MOM.”
Grandma’s sign said, “Their Mommy,” with an arrow pointing to Alex and CJ.
Grandpa made a sign that said,
“Mommy go home!”
Their mommy was very happy to see them and surprised to see the signs. We were all happy to see her.
“We missed you, Mommy!”
On the way home from the airport, we took her to the top of Pilot Butte and showed her all of Bend and the mountains…
We went to the Lodge for lunch…
and sat in really big chairs…
…and petted the ‘deer.’
We took Mommy to the top of Paulina Peak. The drive up there scared her.
On the way back down we stopped at Paulina Falls.
Back at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, we took Mommy swimming in the river.
On Sunday, we went to the Trout House for breakfast.
On Sunday afternoon, Grandpa took CJ to the Remote Controlled Car Races.
The buck came by looking for lunch.
The does and fawns come for breakfast, lunch and dinner…everyday!
Alex got a cowgirl outfit when we went shopping in Sisters.
We like to ride on the bear Grandma and Grandpa D's back yard.
She also climbed trees every chance she got.
CJ has a personality all his own and has fun everywhere...
